Each part of the company is run differently. No training programs at all and Systems are out-dated. Pros Extremely flexible with work schedules.
Cons Each dept is pitted against others and run differently. Some people get over worked and other starve to make 30 hours a week. Pros People are nice. Cons Hours are bad. Compensation did not even come close to meeting industry standard. Benefits were not competitive, either. PTO was nearly non-existent in the first year.
Productive and fun place to work. I had to if I had the chance to work here again I will I would recommend this place to other coworkers of mine to get a start in their career for becoming a skilled tradesman. Training is non existent, as are parts. They have managers that have zero clue how to manage people. They try to force hard workers into management positions so they can pay them salary instead of hourly.

My time here has been spent growing in my knowledge and gaining a firm grasp on several systems. Although they are a door company, DH Pace has a strong team of security and access control technicians. It would be easy to say that they are as much a security company, as a door company in the Phoenix area.
I've worked at DH Pace for almost a decade and a half. While the industry as a whole can be tough to learn, the investment from the company in improving their LMS Learning Management System to help with this has been impressive in the past 5 years. Like elsewhere, this is always more work than hours in the day, and times can demand longer days than normal. However, the management team I deal with on a daily basis is supportive, pushes me to grow, and is incredibly positive. I am very lucky to be able to look forward to work every day, continuously learn, and work with a great group of employees all pulling in the same direction.
