Reasonably close to the Nisqually entrance to Mt Rainier. We also visited a local drug store, that carries a bit of everything you might need on a trip. The two ladies there were very friendly and helpful. We visited the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park for our 3rd time, first time for our friend. We really enjoyed it. Especially watching the two grizzley bears play in the water, and the sea otters are always a highlight. We took the train tour from Elbe to the train museum in Mineral.
The train crew were all very friendly and informative.. Our main reason for our trip was to see the wildflowers at their peak on Mt Rainier. Its a nice, quiet, friendly town. There are lots of things to do and see in the area including Mt. Rainer National park and Mt. Rainer Railroad.
