Chianti cleveland

The food was above our expectations and the service was impeccable. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I may have ever had. The price of the food was appropriate for the portion and quality served. I would definitely return to Chinato's. Great dining experience.

Mike, our server, was fantastic! Thanks for a great evening. Mussels were superb. Service was attentive and helpful with suggestions. Nice variety of menu selections. Beautiful restaurant. Open table reservations rock! Love that App. Nice place; good food; good hostess and wait staff.

Friendly and kept our water glasses filled without ever having to ask for refills. No complaints about anything.

Everything was as it should be. We ordered 3 appetizers, which was more than enough food to kill time before going to the ballpark. I will go back soon. Thank you! It's always a great experience here! The food is fantastic, and not too expensive. Service is always great. And we love the ambience. We always add this to our itinerary for the film festival. Always spectacular. The food is never anything but excellent.

The service compliments the food. I have never been anything short of absolutely delighted visiting Chinato. The food was very good. It seemed to have an innovative twist on Northern Italian cuisine. Will go back. We were at Chinato about a year and a half ago and the food was excellent, so we were really excited to come back to celebrate our friend's birthday.

However, this time was very disappointing. My husband ordered the Osso Bucco and sent it back because it was so tough, my friends ordered pasta and said it was on par with a frozen stouffers meal, and mine wasn't much better. The wait staff was super nice, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They comped us two desserts to try and make up for it, but certainly it wasn't their fault that the food was sub-par. It was very disappointing eating dinner at home Sunday evening and realizing we were enjoying our homemade meal significantly more than the one we paid for at Chinato the evening before.

In a city with so many great food choices - Chinato really needs to do better. Classy place, nice ambiance. Bourbon selection is limited. We had reservations at before a Cavs game and sat at the bar for happy hour before we went to our seats.

The service at the bar was outstanding the pan fried artichoke hearts with the arancini balls I would order again but not the muscles. The red wine on happy hour was average at best. We moved to our table and Mike our server was attentive and friendly. It was also restaurant week and the pre fix salad was a fail, but the fish was top notch. Port selection limited. Next time I would just sit at the bar before a game. This wonderful place never disappoints!

Took advantage of the restaurant week specials. Plus the wine list!! Another terrific Zack Bruell restaurant! Love them. We had made a reservation and it was busy when we arrived. We were seated in the crowded and very loud bar. The food was good but not exceptional as we expected base on other reviews. The coffee was awful. The service was just OK at times it seemed as though they were more interested in clearing the table. They even brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert , which we did.

The dessert was very good. Honestly I think I would pick something else the next time we visit Cleveland. It was not the experience we had anticipated.

Kill the noise Very nice restaurant, great staff Great mixologist at the bar.. The food selection was nice. Would have liked to see the menu items paired with a wine selection, but all was good. I will be back with friends and family. The music wasn't appropriate to the ambiance at all. It was pretty awful and way too loud. The drink I ordered was so strong I had to get a side of juice to dilute it. Those were the only two negatives.

The bread was amazing. Our meals were amazing. The appetizer was delicious! The service was outstanding. Oh, and that dessert We had a wonderful experience dining here.

Our indulgence of being free from chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese began with the calamari. A prelude of what was to come. A choice of the ravioli and also the beef braciole as entrees were not a disappointment. The delicate ravioli arranged in simple butter sauce provided a wonderful flavor rich meal. The hearty braciole would make any Italian grandmother envious.

Tender and robust. Flavorful and satisfying. The hand crafted signature cocktails were complimentary to our meal choices. The bread was old worldly and plentiful. The wait staff were excellent at answering any questions. They were there when we needed anything and not bothersome when not need.

Casual, friendly and affordable, Chinato is a place where people can enjoy great food, wine and spirits and experience superior service, all in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Soup Du Jour. Fried Baby Artichokes Alla Giudea. Stwed Squid and Clam Belly. Arugula Salad. Grilled Vegetable Salad. Julienned Carrot and Olive Salad. Fettuccini Carbonara.

Brick Flattened Chicken Breast. Chicken "Scallopine". Beef Braised in Amarone. Bistecca Alla Fiorentina for Two. Chicken Legs "Saltimbocca" Style. Vegan Eggplant Involtini.

Wild Mushrooms, Olives, Pecorino and Arugula. I would not return. Food is sub par The service is good, the piano player added a nice touch. But the food is just not "wow" Unfortunate with such an attractive dining area.

The food was okay. Service was okay. Our waiter apologized for an error his assistant made in placing the silverware. There was tension between them. On the basis of this experience, we would not plan to return. Beautiful, steak served slightly rare opposed to medium as ordered.

Overall a delicious meal with a beautiful view. We were the only diners on the patio as it was cool but we were put there because of our dog with us. VERY slow service but the food was good. Quite possibly the worst Italian food ever. My wife's grilled chicken breast had the thinest, dryest piece of chicken she'd ever had and my veal marsala tasted like it had come from a Swanson's frozen package. The fettuccini noodles where more like butter noodles, thin and tasteless.

Would highly recommend you avoid this place if you enjoy good Italian food. As always this was fabulous. On a carriage ride someone else even mentioned it is his favorite. I had fish as well as risotto and vegetables at every meal while on the island. Chianti had by far the best flavor and preparation. It was very nice to substitute Brussels sprouts for kale. Thank you again for your attention to gourmet cuisine.

The food was very disappointing. Ordered the ribeye with two sides for the table. The mashed potatoes were thin watery and tasteless. We went for our anniversary dinner and left feeling so disappointed. We had dinner here while staying the week at Mission Point. It is a very interesting set up, being actually part of the east side of the lobby area. Music was great with a very good piano player. Nice outside deck overlooking the lake. Food was great and yes we had a bottle of Chianti.

Service was fantastic! Website is a touch mis-leading with the quality of presentation ambience in the restaurant. Food was good and ok service but website leads on to believe it is a high end restaurant. Our dinner reservation was fantastic and it was for our 30th Anniversary.

Our sever Clever was the best! The pianist played funeral music - perhaps classical - but dreadful. There were three LARGE dogs on the patio - four in all - and the water views we paid for were in part blocked whenever the Great Dane or Rottweiler stood up. The waiter knew noting about the food preparation - and apparently the chef knew less. How do you ruin Lake Superior Walleye? Service was sporadic and food was poor.

In total not worth the high prices by a long shot. Service was good but the food was low quality as compared to all other locations we ate at during our vacation. Pasta was way over cooked an chicken parmesan was tough.

I have had much better meals for less than one third of the price. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our son, who was turning 30 was sung to, and the waiter's voice was beautiful!

Food and service were excellent. Love piano playing was great, especially when one of the servers started singing along and nailed it! Will be dining here again next time at Mission Point. Ambiance and service were wonderful. We were disappointed in our food for the price we paid. Kitchen needs some salt! Calamari and chicken dishes were a bit over cooked.

No because the food simply does not match up to the ambiance, excellent service and classy pianist. The expense should have included superior food but did not live up to our expectations. Outstanding service, delicious food, varied menu, beautiful setting. I highly recommend eating at Chianti! Upscale restaurant with beautiful views of the lake. Food was good but service was poor. Soup delivered to the table cold. Mentioned that soup was not that good to the waiter but was brushed off.

After a long delay, entree arrived. No apology for delay. Waiter did not check back to see how our entree was until enough time had passed that we were done eating. No offer to refill bread basket. Cannot recommend this restaurant. Great food and service. Sat looking out at the lake.

The setting of Chianti is lovely and the service was very good. However the food was not hot but lukewarm. The view of the Lake is amazing from this restaurant.

All of the seating has the beautiful view. Our waiter was really fun and funny, and made the formal dinner very fun. I was surprised to see quite a few children with their parents here.

There is live piano player for background music. The garlic mashed potatoes were great, and the veggies were fresh and tender. My parents shared the Whitefish, and it was lovely too. They chose some Chianti Classico, by the glass. I had sparkling water. At the end we chose coffee and one piece of terrimisu for the three of us. It was a good sweet ending. It also looks like a great hotel to stay at.

My husband and I absolutely loved our dining experience at Chianti! Our waiter, Basil, was outstanding. We ordered the white fish and chicken parmesan - would highly recommend and look forward to returning next year.

Chianti is a very special restaurant. Everyone is so wonderful and every time we dine there it feels like home. We were very happy to see Glenroy.

He is very special. Susan and Larry Ponemon. Our server Adrian was the best and the food was excellent.
