However my son is in Pre-k and is learning a lot!! It's supposed to be a math and science school, however my daughter has not learned science yet and it's almost April. Parent Review 10y ago. Winterset Elementary School. My daughter has loved Winterset for Kindergarten and 1st Grade. Her kindergarten teacher Miss Eichman was awesome! The principal and secretary are always so sweet and available when I need them. Parent involvement opportunities has improved this year!
