After much detailed adjustments, assembling, and—most importantly—proofreading and facts checking, the issue is finally pushed for publication. The result is a polished volume that features national coverage, with special insight and focus on hidden local treasures waiting for readers to discover as they peruse through the freshly minted pages. In addition to traditional print copies, the website offers readers free digital copies of PDF downloadable archived issues from January up to the current issue.
For Gillian Flynn, the pride that comes with her tireless work and efforts is in knowing that Riviera San Diego maintains an ever constant presence on coffee tables and hotel lobbies—especially during an age when publications are turning more and more to digital media.
Yet, often times, less can be more. So how does Riviera San Diego stave off the fierce competition? Flynn says that Riviera San Diego has added value to the magazine by connecting people, bringing everyone together to create a true sense of community. She emphasizes that, in doing so, readers feel as if they are a part of the Riviera family. Riviera San Diego prides itself on delivering well-curated information that is supplemented—not overshadowed—by the advertisements.
Through the Audit Bureau Circulation, a nonprofit organization, Riviera is organized with ABC auditing circulation, readership, and audience information.
